CDL Bus Driver
Full Time or Part Time
The York County Transportation Program seeks a qualified individual to transport persons to and from their destination for general public Demand Response and Flex Routes. Requires assisting all passengers including those using mobility devises on and off the vehicle.
The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications skills and abilities:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A current CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Must be able to comply with Federal drug/alcohol testing requirements and all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations according to the US Dept. of Transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check preemployment physical and preemployment drug screen.
- Must be available for night and weekend work.
- A minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
- The ability to drive a 2024 passenger bus.
- Route transportation or delivery experience preferred.
- A clean driving record.
- Good defensive driving skills.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of maintaining accurate record keeping of all passengers and vehicle statistics.
- The ability to communicate with clients with courtesy and respect.
Training will be provided as applicable.
