Project Kuiper is seeking a talented selfdirected marketing leader to build and execute our Consumer marketing team and plans across the US and Canada. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting fastgrowing business working with global and crossfunctional colleagues and building a brand from the ground up. You will work autonomously to deliver successful marketing programs across the US and Canada focused on growing critical metrics including Awareness and Consideration leading to subscriber growth. Success in this role will mean thriving in an ambiguous environment demonstrating expertise and driving adoption of a bold vision as you regularly report on your plans and results up to VP level.
The ideal candidate for this role has a track record of developing largescale complex marketing strategies and executing at scale through building managing and influencing internal and external resources and stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver crossfunctional marketing plans designed to grow our most critical metrics.
Build a team of functional marketing experts to deliver worldclass impactful marketing campaigns and programs across North America.
Manage and influence internal and external team resources and support to rapidly and consistently execute at the highest standard.
Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to monitor business metrics and regularly report on performance up to VP level adjusting strategically and tactically as needed.
Deliver continuous improvement programs which consistently drive increased efficiency and effectiveness across a wide range of key metrics at country and region level.

A day in the life
This is a highly visible high impact role on the Kuiper Marketing team. You will be a key voice in global decisionmaking and delivering the marketing strategy for North America. A typical day will involve strategic decisionmaking stakeholder management organizational growth planning team hiring and development through influencing close partner teams budget and operational planning and more. In this role you will be expected to deliver autonomously and under the ambiguity which accompanies a fastgrowing earlystage business.
7 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience driving direction and alignment with crossfunctional teams
Bachelors degree in marketing advertising business or equivalent
Consumer Brand Marketing experience in a technology or telecommunications company ideally for a new product or service
Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives and support portfolio objectives
MBA
Experience owning a global brand and driving aggressive brand awareness and growth goals
Experience leading matrixed virtual teams that create and execute strategic programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
