The Prime Video UX team is seeking a problemsolving Senior UX Designer to deliver the future vision for how customers discover and watch their favorite shows. Youll design innovative interaction experiences that help to shape the future of entertainment around how our customers interact with their favorite shows.
This role is for a handson designer who can establish a vision and strategy for our viewer experiences while leading the delivery of design wireframes prototypes and design specs for content across all Prime Videosupported devices. You excel through innovation creativity and attention to detail. You are a proven strategic thinker and collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You sincerely believe that design is more than how something looks but also how it feels and functions. You enjoy great design debates and thrive on iterating based on customer feedback.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze customer problems and design delightful solutions with measurable impact.
Work closely with product and business teams to develop use cases and highlevel requirements.
Create design artifacts like user flows wireframes visual mocks and prototypes to communicate your ideas.
Develop and maintain detailed userinterface and interaction specifications.
Independently present work socialize ideas and manage stakeholder expectations.
Partner with technology teams to ensure we leverage the scale offered by our platform without compromising on core experience principles.
Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.
A day in the life
The Senior UX Designer for Prime Video will be tasked with solving some of our most complex customer problems daily. You are expected to approach problems with a customercentric mindset first and design solutions that solve for those customer problems. Daytoday you will collaborate with other designers UX Researchers Product Managers and Engineers to evolve our content discovery experience our entertainment properties.
8 years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML JavaScript CSS Ajax
Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch Photoshop Illustrator InVision or similar
Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
Experience acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
