Job Description
Position Description: The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its Adult Anesthesiology Division. At LOCATION the practice of anesthesiology encompasses a medically directed team approach involving faculty anesthesiologists anesthesiology fellows residents and advanced practice certified nurse anesthetists and CAAs. The successful candidate must possess the ability to provide high quality anesthesia care to a complex patient population working directly under the supervision of our Adult Anesthesiologists and as part of a team of highly trained and dedicated team of CAAs and certified nurse anesthetists. Position Highlights * Ability to join specialty teams: Cardiac Whipple Neurosurgery and Regional Pain teams * Abilities needed: placement of Central lines Arterial lines Fiber optic intubation neuraxial anesthetics Double Lumen Endotracheal tube placement The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care innovation medical research and education. Our health network operates eastern Wisconsins only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. * Teaching opportunities
* A variety of Schedules: 1 week on/1 week off 3x13 hour shifts Same Day off each week etc.
* No Call on Nights and Occasional Weekends
* Medical Direction of 1:4

We provide care in several different locations throughout the Milwaukee area including:
Froedtert Hospital a 689bed Level1 Trauma Center that features an Integrated Procedural Platform with stateoftheart equipment and technology across 32 ORs approximately 16 outofOR anesthetizing locations daily an awardwinning Birth Center and a highly rated Cardiovascular intensive care unit located within a bustling regional medical center next to Wisconsins largest city
Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital which are both smaller fullservice community hospitals that have adjacent ambulatory surgery centers;
Two additional ambulatory surgery centers in Wauwatosa and Oak Creek
