We are hiring Solutions Architects to work with our toptier Startup customers. The Solutions Architect engages with customers to understand their business drivers assess application portfolios design reliable and costeffective cloudnative architectures. As a Startups Solutions Architect you will partner with customers AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with sales you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.


Key job responsibilities
Work with peers in Account Management and Business Development functions to develop comprehensive pursuit and engagement plans that meet the needs of startup customers
Act directly as a technical executive sponsor for our most critical accounts
Champion your areas customer needs with senior leaders (Director VP) inside AWS
Hire onboard train and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
Develop mechanisms to ensure your team is wellpositioned to deliver high value to customers and the right results for the business
Maintain a high bar for operational excellence; define and maintain appropriate cadences for inspecting the business in your area
Own the talent management strategy and outcomes for your team (performance management promotion pipelines leadership development mentoring programs etc.

10 years of enterprise IT application work that includes at least 2 years of handson software development or DevOps engineering experience
2 years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure AWS GCP OCI etc. experience
8 years of technology solutions development and evangelising endtoend technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals ideally in customer facing roles

Experience architecting migrating transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $152100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
