Position Details:

Summary of Duties:
The4H Program Coordinatorprovides leadership coordination and administration for theKing County 4H Youth Development Program which serves 400 youth members through community clubs supports 150 certified volunteers and delivers youth outreach programming. This position is primarily responsible for volunteer administration and program administration under the direction of theWashington State University WSU)Extension King County Director and as a part of the 4H team. Additional responsibilities include event planning resource management and communication with volunteers youth families and community partners particularly underserved and new audiences. This role requires a commitment to positive youth development volunteer empowerment and collaborative work. The ideal candidate will be creative selfmotivated and an effective communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full time 100 FTE) temporary position. This position is overtime eligible.


Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end December 31 2025. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment. Funding has been renewed successfully for several years and we expect funding to continue to be renewed.

Monthly Salary: $4050.92$4940.13 Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with
RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.
