Job Description
- We are hiring immediately for a PRN School Registered Dietitian.
- Location: DC and Surrounding MD and VA Area Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: 34 Days/Events per Month. 5 Hours per Event
- Requirement: Must be a Registered Dietitian with CDR

Job Summary
We are seeking a PartTime School Dietitian to join our wellness team at CulinArt in the greater Washington DC area. This dietitian will assist with nutrition and wellness events 34 times per month at 7 school accounts. 100 travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively present nutrition and sustainability education developed by CulinArts Wellness Director across a variety of platforms for health fairs lunch & learns program launches client meetings and school wellness events.
- Maintain indepth and current knowledge of child and adult nutrition guidelines as outlined by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and the American Medical Association
- Learn and be able to speak on CulinArts sustainability program and initiatives
- Assist in manager and teammember food allergy and nutrition training programs
- Maintain registered dietitian credentials and remain in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration by staying current with professional development portfolio CPEs.
Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
- Travel 100 in the Metro DC area and nearby MD and VA areas.
- Culinary and/or foodservice experience preferred
- Experience in public speaking preferably to all age groups
- Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
