You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Systems Support Specialist will play a key role in providing technical support and maintaining the functionality and security of our organizations systems. This individual will work closely with the IT team to ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively to support the business needs.
The Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues implementing system upgrades and providing training to users as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to endusers on hardware software and systemrelated issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with servers workstations and networking equipment.
Install configure and maintain operating systems and software applications.
Monitor system performance and security ensuring data integrity and compliance with security policies.
Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
Collaborate with other IT staff to develop training materials and provide training to users.
Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in system support to recommend improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of X years of experience in system support or a related role.
Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong knowledge of networking hardware and software systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
