Job Description

Job Description Summary

Perform tasks related to receiving warehousing and releasing materials into production. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/. The role has some autonomy but is focused on of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Shipping and Receiving. Ordering picking environment. This includes ERP updating managing stocking conditions and inventory management / inventory control.
  • Developing indepth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Indepth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Indepth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and onthejob training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and build a team in alignment with the business growth.
  • Ability to develop an advanced SOP playbook for warehouse .
  • Think safety into all directives including risk ergonomics environmental federal and state regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
  • Minimum of 6 years of advanced experience in the Manufacturing Warehousing and Inventory.

Desired Characteristics

  • Green belt or six sigma certification or knowledge
  • Logistics Management background and skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Data analytics is desired
  • Ability to work as a team
  • SQDC Safety Quality Delivery & Cost mindset.
