Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Insurance Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional insurance services to clients and assisting them in securing personal insurance policies tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
- Educate clients on various personal insurance products and coverage options
- Customize insurance policies to meet the specific needs and budget of each client
- Coordinate with underwriters to process insurance applications and ensure timely issuance of policies
- Provide exceptional customer service including handling inquiries and claims in a prompt and efficient manner
- Stay informed about industry regulations and market trends to effectively advise clients
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Insurance Producer or Personal Insurance Agent
- Valid insurance producer license
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products coverage options and underwriting procedures
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and underwriters
- Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $50k$60k (based on experience) commission
