Job Description

St Albans City School is looking to fill an Educational Support position at the Behavior Interventionist level. Qualified candidates must be collaborative team members and have a passion for children. Individuals will work with researchbased intervention strategies and support differentiated classroom settings to meet the needs of our students. Experience with working and implementing programming with primary grade level learners. Ability to support students in feeling as if they belong and are held accountable. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully an individual must demonstrate a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills an acute attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility and and/or Experience: H.S. Graduate or equivalent column placement based on Educational Support Professionals Master Agreement. Behavior Interventionist must have current Handle With Care (HWC) certification or the ability to obtain HWC certification upon being hired. Preferred knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and traumainformed care and one or more years of successful experience with special needs students.
