Project Engineer: Cost Consultant Life Science & Industrial Manufacturing Projects

We are currently seeking a talented fulltime Project Engineer (Cost Consultant) for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.
Job Description
- Serve as a clientfacing Project Engineer providing strategic tactical and technical advice throughout all project stages collaborating with clients and consultants.
- Conduct feasibility studies produce procurement reports and develop ROMs for new and pipeline projects to establish project budgets.
- Manage daytoday cost activities on mediumlarge scale projects including procurement pay requests change management and cost reporting.
- Apply value management techniques early in projects integrating existing protocols and systems.
- Oversee the procurement process ensuring effective prequalification enquiry evaluation selection and contract preparation.
- Manage postcontract cost variances change control cost checking valuation and the production of monthly cost reports for client presentations.
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree (MSc MBA Engineering Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field) A professional qualification such as MRICS is advantageous.
- 2 4 years experience in a Cost Consultancy role with experience managing life science industrial manufacturing or other capital projects.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding with the ability to manage budgets perform cost analyses and track financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex cost information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
