You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently recruiting a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the internalisation of IT services for a globally recognised food and nutrition leader. This role is pivotal to the businesss IT transformation programme where the focus is on building inhouse capability and managing strategic partnerships with managed service providers.
Reporting to the IT Transformation Manager the successful candidate will oversee the core infrastructure environment including Microsoft services data centres storage and virtualisation platforms ensuring secure reliable and scalable IT operations across the enterprise.
Collaborate with managed service providers to maintain server hardware storage and core IT systems across multiple data centres
Oversee central Microsoft infrastructure components including Active Directory and related services
Monitor and ensure availability performance and security compliance of infrastructure in line with company policies and industry regulations
Contribute to the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Provide oversight for infrastructure incident management and resolution in partnership with service management teams
Act as a senior point of contact on infrastructurerelated projects and new business initiatives
Guide and evaluate managed service providers on routine maintenance upgrades and support deliverables
Support strategy development for longterm infrastructure planning and technology investment
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
810 years experience in enterprisescale Microsoft IT infrastructure roles
Proven experience working with and managing relationships with managed service providers
Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and core infrastructure services
Handson knowledge of virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware) and server/storage environments
Familiarity with IT security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST) and best practices
Exposure to disaster recovery planning data backup strategies and incident response processes
Networking and cloud experience is a strong advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical problemsolving and stakeholder engagement abilities
Teamoriented with a proactive and growthfocused mindset
