Company Description
An Ofsted Registered childrens homes based throughout the North West specialising in therapeutic care. We are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to manage our new home which will care and support up to 2 young people.
Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role as a Childrens Residential Home Manager. The Childrens Residential Home Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations ensuring a safe and supportive living environment for children implementing individual care plans and supervising staff. The Childrens Residential Home Manager will work closely with social workers local authorities and other professionals to ensure the highest quality care for residents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Residential Care home manager or in a related role
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and safeguarding practices
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
- Strong leadership and management skills including the ability to motivate coach and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with residents families local authorities and external professionals
- Able to remain calm under pressure handle challenging situations and make sound decisions
- Passionate about working with children and young people and committed to their care and wellbeing
- A degree in social work psychology or a related field or equivalent experience and qualifications
