Job Role: Intern
The role is based within Finance function of Northern Operating Services Private Limited.
Major Duties
The role incumbent will undergo on the job training in areas of accounting by handling day to day accounting of a business unit which includes accounting for salary monthly accrual of expenses bank reconciliation prepaid expense writeoff review of monthly financials variance analysis preparing schedules forming part of financial statement amongst other functions.
Below are the details:
Support in posting daily accounting entries along with proper attachments.
Support in Bank Reconciliations and banking related activities such as addition/ deletion of signatories etc.
Help in month end procedures e.g. Accruals Prepaid expenses Depreciation Salary Leases Dilapidation accounting etc.
Help in accounting of monthly and quarterly statutory tax payments.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and prepare documentation for inwards and outward remittance.
Identify issues in process and provide recommendations for process improvement
Assist in preparing various schedules required for statutory audit requirements
Assist in miscellaneous. administrative activities as and when required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Successful completion of CA Inter in addition to Graduate Degree.
Should have 12 months of training left.
Skills:
Reasonable handson experience in MS Excel.
Prior exposure to statutory audit of large corporate clients would be preferred.
