The Role
As an Engineering Team Lead at Legend youll lead a team focused on customerfacing feature development and optimisation. Youll manage and mentor a team of engineers engaging in handson activities such as pair programming addressing bugs and blockers and contributing to technical design and architecture discussions. Your role will involve bridging the gap between business and technology ensuring alignment and understanding on both sides.

Your Impact:
- Lead and Inspire: Effectively guide a engineering team fostering a positive and collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solve Complex Problems: Tackle technical challenges ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.
- Mentor and Guide: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to squad members maintaining high standards and adherence to industry best practices.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teamsincluding product management content design SEO and deliveryto ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Promote Growth: Cultivate a culture of learning and development supporting the professional growth of team members through ongoing training mentorship and skillbuilding opportunities.
What Youll Bring:
- Experience in leading the design and implementation of scalable solutions capable of handling large data volumes or high traffic with minimal performance impact.
- Skilled in modern frontend technologies ideally including and TypeScript.
- Ability to still get in to the weeds & change code this role is partially a hands on position
- Proficient in deploying applications to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Managed and mentored a team of Product facing engineers across multiple levels of seniority.
- Strong communicator with a track record of effective collaboration with crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of best engineering practices including testing pair programming documentation and code reviews.
