Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Strategy Development. This role is based out of our Oakville office and reports to the Director Strategic Program Office.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director Strategic Program Office the Manager Strategy Developmentis accountable for supporting our growth journey through futureproofing with competitive insights strategic planning and performance management. They will lead critical strategic planning and analysis of growth levers for IPEX. They will partner with senior leadership to build and execute strong and competitive growth and change plans. They will be involved in collaborating across the organization to create awareness of opportunities and lead the evolution of business case and efficiency development.

This individual will need to be an expert in strategic thinking direction setting and complex problem solving to enable the growth agenda for the organization. They will advise senior executives as a trusted thought leader and collaborate across business units and functions to drive strategy to action. They will oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously and will need to operate at both a detailed analytical level and a broad strategic level.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Own and execute strategy projects that are crossfunctional in scope with minimal oversight

  • Manage develop and mentor direct and indirect reports

  • Leading complex problem solving; analyze and synthesize large sets of data from multiple sources formulate/ validate hypotheses and make business recommendations

  • Develop executivelevel presentations (North American leadership Executive Committee updates external speaking engagements etc.

  • Be recognized as an established leader and consultative partner amongst senior leaders

  • Conduct market research competitive analysis and financial modeling to support the development and implementation of IPEXs longterm strategy

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities developing business cases and supporting the of growth strategies in alignment with company priorities.

  • Manage workstreams for highimpact strategic initiatives ensuring timelines stakeholder alignment and deliverables are met.

  • Liaise with peers to develop and maintain KPIs and performance tracking tools to monitor progress on key initiatives and inform leadership decisionmaking.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent and alignment of strategic initiatives across departments.

  • Assist in integrating new capabilities into core business processes ensuring smooth adoption and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Share best practices and analytical techniques to strengthen the teams strategic and operational capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelors degree is required; a degree in a businessrelated field (such as Economics Finance Business Administration) or from a highly regarded university is a plus.

  • Candidates should have at least 6 years in management consulting corporate strategy or business operations. Experience in manufacturing or highgrowth companies is also a plus.

  • Experience with Organizational Change Management projects

  • Experience in leading enterprise level or largescale projects or programs involving multiple business teams.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an asset.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and must be able to switch from one project to another seamlessly.

  • Ability to influence positively in high profile projects.

  • High level of energy drive passion motivation enthusiasm and flexibility in driving initiatives and projects forward in a fastpaced environment.

  • Skilled at collaborating across teams and stakeholders in the development of a comprehensive project plan that defines critical program factors such as program objectives and goals program resources and org chart budget success criteria program management and approach communication planning issue/risk/escalation planning.

  • Knowledge of budgeting process with a strong understanding of project costs tracking actuals projecting forecasts reporting and talking through project financials.

  • Solid understanding of project management techniques methodologies and best practices.

  • Proven ability to think critically and strategically breaking down complex problems analyzing them and developing innovative actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Proficiency in building financial models conducting scenario analysis and developing datadriven business cases.

  • Strong skills in conducting market research and industry analysis to support strategic decisions.

  • Previous experience in managing project timelines deliverables and crossfunctional teams.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for insights and recommendations (Excel Power BI etc..

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create impactful presentations for senior leaders.
    Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams across business functions to drive results.

  • Understanding of operational processes and experience implementing scalable frameworks and tools.

  • Familiarity with change management principles and experience supporting the rollout of new business capabilities.
