Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology
Licensed to practice as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist in the state of Texas
Two 2 years experience preferred
SUMMARY:
Provide appropriate therapy to assigned students; knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques; Knowledge of speechlanguage pathology theory and practice; ability to develop and present staff developments regarding speech in public schools; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to supervise advise and train assistants; Score and interpret test data and write reports based on findings; Evaluate effectiveness of speechlanguage programs; Educate and consult with parents and teachers regarding speech disabilities in special education students.
$4500 Speech stipend
