Micron Semiconductor Products Inc.
Work in Microns Compute and Networking Business Unit define product architectures for Microns memory solutions and solve realworld challenges and meet the needs of data centers client systems and graphics platforms. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams from design to manufacturing to transform architectural concepts into tangible products. Build strong technical relationships with other system architects and key technologists in the industry and represent Micron at industry conferences and events. Develop a strong understanding of the solution space including fabrication processes system topologies interconnects and protocols interaction of Microns memory components and solutions to other system components. Understand customer requirements problems to be solved and optimization points as well as ensuring successful designin of new solutions with close collaboration with end customers. Create document and present product specifications supporting customer use cases for new technologies. Position requires U.S. domestic and international travel. May telecommute parttime.
Employer will accept a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Position requires:
1. Solid State Device & Physics Computer Systems Organization MOS VLSI Circuit Design Devices for AI Machine Learning and Electrochemistry;
2. Hardware and software programming skills including Python Verilog and simulation tools including SPICE;
3. Hardware design and development;
4. Memory Technologies including DRAM SRAM Flash emerging nonvolatile memories like PCM ReRAM MRAM and their operation advantages limitations and application use cases;
5. Digital Circuit Design including digital design principles and practices logic design design tools and languages including Verilog or VHDL;
6. Computer Architecture including memoryCPU integration memory hierarchy and cache design;
7. ComputerAided Design (CAD) tools used for semiconductor design and simulation including Cadence Synopsys and Mentor Graphics;
8. Manufacturing Processes including lithography etching ion implantation and metallization;
9. Using data analysis tools and techniques to model and simulate memory circuits and systems including MATLAB Python or similar tools.
The US base salary range that Micron Semiconductor Products Inc. estimates it could pay for this fulltime position is $178006.00 $180500.
