PMO Support Analyst II
Location Birmingham AL

5 to 10 years of experience in project administration project coordination or a similar project support role.
The PMO Support Analyst II plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and administration of projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). This position supports project success by managing documentation facilitating communication tracking milestones and ensuring compliance with project methodologies and timelines. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented proactive and highly adaptable to evolving project needs.
Provide administrative and coordination support across multiple projects.
Manage and maintain project schedules documentation reports and action items.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment on deliverables timelines and status updates.
Assist in the preparation of project status reports dashboards and presentations.
Monitor and track project progress risks and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies standards and best practices.
Facilitate team communications and organize meetings agendas and followup activities.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive project information and documentation.
Assist with the development of project workflows and process improvements.
Interpret and analyze project data and trends to support strategic decisions.
Project Management Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project Smartsheet JIRA or equivalent.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
ProblemSolving: Ability to identify issues escalate appropriately and contribute to resolution.
Team Collaboration: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret project metrics and generate insights from data.
Bachelors degree in Business Project Management or a related field.
Certifications such as CAPM PMIACP or Project are a plus.
