Design Associate/Sales (Flooring Specialist)

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Meet with clients in their homes to discuss their flooring needs and provide expert recommendations.
Present flooring products in our Mobile Showroom demonstrating samples using companyprovided devices and software.
Write and submit flooring proposals using FCIs proprietary estimating software aiming to close a minimum of ten proposals per week.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring clear communication and smooth project coordination with the Office Manager/Project Manager.
Coordinate installation schedules and assist with product ordering as needed.
Conduct postinstallation followup including final walkthroughs payment collection and customer satisfaction checks.
Perform periodic job site inspections and solicit online reviews after project completion.
Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Maintain a clean organized and presentable mobile flooring showroom and office/warehouse ensuring proper inventory and care of company samples at all times.
Use companyprovided tools for professional use including inhome mobile tablet for estimating; laptop computer with Microsoft Office Suite; Disto electronic measuring device and tape measure; uniform (logo) shirts and name tag to be worn at all sales calls.
Work hours may include daytime evening and weekend shifts.
Attend weekly goal setting and review (GSR) sessions and regularly scheduled team meetings to review organizational goals and individual tasks.
Provide fast responses to customer requests consistently improving customer service satisfaction and perception.
Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Event & show participation: represent the company at local events and shows when required.

Competitive salary plus commission with the potential to earn $75K $100K annually.

Qualifications:
Selfmotivated independent worker with excellent communication skills.
Strong desire to contribute to the success of a growing company and maintain a positive energetic attitude.
Basic business knowledge and solid customer service experience.
Ability to manage a busy work schedule efficiently.
Highly organized with a passion for customer service.
No flooring experience required but a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a company background check.
Must be comfortable with working in a team atmosphere and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
Physical & Working Conditions:
Sitting 60 of the time (office client homes and driving to appointments).
Standing/walking 40 of the time.
Lifting up to 40 pounds to carry sample kits into client homes.
Frequent interaction with clients and team members requiring strong customer service skills.
