A midsized multidisciplined architectural and engineering firm is seeking a talented Licensed Landscape Architect to join their team! This position is an opportunity to develop new skills and career advancement.
Conduct site assessments and analysis to determine project feasibility.
Develop landscape plans planting plans and hardscape design.
Draft construction documents specifications and cost estimates for landscape projects.
Collaborate with clients engineers architects and other stakeholders to integrate landscape designs into overall project plans and ensure designs meet their needs and requirements.
Oversee the implementation of landscape designs ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Provide guidance on hardscape elements such as patios walkways and retaining walls.
Develop maintenance plans for landscapes to ensure longterm sustainability and health of plant materials.
Maintain project records including contracts invoices and project schedules.
Assist with proposals marketing project reports and technical presentations.
Perform a variety of other tasks associated with field activities and office needs.
Bachelors degree in Landsape Architecture or related field.
Professional license as a Landscape Architect.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the A/E industry.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful projects.
Experience with sustainable design practices and/or LEED certification.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and work with multiple teams simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while meeting tight deadlines.
