STRATEGIC FUNCTION To develop and manage a process to regrant St. Davids Foundation resources through a communitydirected and participatory process that reflects the needs voices and priorities of communities with the greatest health needs. Secondarily to begin the work of establishing a process by which CAI can develop a formal fund development program to benefit all CAI programs. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESGrantmaking Process Development & Management: - Design and implement a participatory grantmaking framework that aligns with community needs and priorities.
- Develop and oversee application selection and reporting processes that emphasize equity transparency and community engagement.
- Cultivate relationships with community stakeholders local nonprofit organizations; and to inform and strengthen the grantmaking strategy.
- Establish procedures and tools for evaluating the programs effectiveness.
- Monitor program effectiveness ensuring continuous improvement and impact measurement.
- Facilitate advisory groups and community decisionmaking bodies to ensure meaningful participation in funding decisions.
- Provide regular reports and updates on grant distribution impact outcomes and lessons learned.
Strategic Planning & Program Development: - Align grantmaking activities with the mission vision and strategic plan of the St. Davids Foundation.
- Establish goals objectives tasks and timelines to achieve program success.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in nonprofit and participatory grantmaking.
Collaboration Community Engagement & Reporting: - Serve as a liaison between CAI St. Davids Foundation and community partners to ensure alignment and shared goals.
- Provide technical assistance capacitybuilding support and strategic guidance to funded organizations.
- Represent CAI in community meetings conferences and sectorwide collaborations related to equitable grantmaking and fund development.
- Provide relevant information reports and recommendations to the Executive Director and Board of Directors as needed.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure program alignment and efficiency.

Fund Development Strategy: - Conduct an initial assessment to identify opportunities for creating a sustainable fund development program for CAI.
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to design a framework of a fund development plan for CAI.
- Support the development of a process of funding proposals donor engagement strategies and longterm sustainability planning.
Financial & Administrative Oversight: - Manage the fiscal aspects of the program including budgeting financial reporting and compliance with funding guidelines.
- Ensure funds are distributed in alignment with St. Davids Foundation and CAI priorities and community needs.
- Maintain accountability and transparency in all financial and administrative operations related to the program.
- Establish clear criteria for selecting candidates conduct thorough interviews and make informed recommendations for hiring or termination based on organizational needs and performance evaluations.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills knowledge and performance. Provide leadership and guidance to staff ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities while fostering a positive work environment through regular communication and support.
- Implement an efficient performance evaluation process to assess employee performance provide constructive feedback and identify areas for professional growth. Establish a clear framework for addressing employee misconduct or performance issues recommending appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies to ensure fairness and consistency.

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATIONS Preferred: | - Masters degree in public administration nonprofit management finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in grantmaking or nonprofit management.
- Strong understanding of participatory grantmaking and communityled funding models.
- Experience working with diverse communities particularly those experiencing health and economic disparities.
- Excellent leadership project management and strategic planning skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (i.e. ability to speak and read in both languages).

Required:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. nonprofit management public administration social work or related area)
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in grantmaking nonprofit leadership or community development.
- Deep understanding of participatory grantmaking grant management equitycentered funding models and communitydriven decisionmaking.
- Demonstrated experience in fund development including donor relations grant proposal writing and revenue diversification.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to design implement and evaluate complex programs.
- Evidence of excellent communication and facilitation skills with a commitment to community engagement and collaboration.
