Industry Specialist Capability Systems Centre (CSC) UNSW Canberra

Reporting to the Director of the Capability Systems Centre this role has no direct reports but will work closely with leadership to support guide oversee and mentor members of CSC and related projects.
Accountabilities
This is a pivotal role within CSC. You will be expected to manage and have oversight of all existing CSC projects and initiatives to achieve strategic and operational goals whilst proactively identifying new opportunities to grow and develop further research within CSC by initiating and securing new projects in Defence.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
- Relevant qualifications and significant experience both in Defence Industry and within Australian Defence Force (ADF) Capability.
- An extensive track record of securing investment and managing a vast number of projects related to CSC capability areas.
- Extensive experience managing tenders and request for quotes for high value projects.
- Extensive experience providing commercial and financial advice related to an area of CSC capability.
- Demonstrated client relationship management and extensive experience at leading negotiating strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Eligibility:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake preemployment checks prior to commencement in this role. The checks that will be undertaken are listed in the Position Description. You will not be required to provide any further documentation or information regarding the checks until directly requested by UNSW.
To be successful you will be an Australian Citizen and be able to hold and maintain a minimum of NV1 security clearance.
