Job Description Summary:
A Senior Analog Electronics Engineer designs specifies develops and tests analog electronics for a wide array of applications including analog front ends signal conditioning analogtodigital conversion precision feedback systems dc/dc conversion. They also perform a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of specifications and requirements of the systems. The engineer designs these circuits performs simulations implements the physical layout verifies and tests designs. They also perform a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning design test deployment and sustainment.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Independently drive solutions to complex problems develop requirements propose ways forward when customer requirements are unclear or incomplete and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) able to develop advanced architectures and designs for complex analog electronics.
Involved in business development and proposal activities.
Identify program/systemlevel technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary tasks with multiple engineers and effectively communicate status to project leadership and customers.
Develop document and teach best practices to less experienced engineers; Demonstrate strong organization planning and time management skills to achieve program goals.
Skills/Abilities
Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: lownoise electronics analogdigital conversion methods of synchronous detection analog and digital signal processing phaselocked loops high speed and precision amplifiers discrete transistor level design.
Designing and troubleshooting analog electronics.
Proficient with schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
Ability to perform circuit simulation using Spice or other simulation tools.
System modeling and analysis experience using MATLAB Simulink or other comparable tools.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required Masters Degree preferred.
Experience
Experience 57 years of experience in Analog Electronics or related.
Additional Job Description:
This role requires the ability to be onsite in Cambridge MA.
