  • Employment Type: Continuing Full Time 35hour week)
  • Remuneration Level 5: $85717 $Superannuation.
  • Location: Kensington NSW (The successful candidate will work on campus minimum two days a week)

Why The Role Matters:

The Digital Asset Officer plays a key role in creating and supporting quality learning experiences using digital media for participants of ondemand online programs and live streamed events produced by the Professional Education Projects & Programs (PEPP) team. These learning experiences are created in partnership with the PEPP team and subject matter experts (external legal practitioners and academics) and are published as part of UNSW Edge or UNSW Centre for the Future of the Legal Professions educational programs. The Digital Asset Officer reports to the Manager of Professional Education Projects & Programs and has no direct reports

The successful candidate will work on campus minimum 2 days a week and be available for flexible start and end times based on events.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

  • A qualification (bachelors degree or higher) in media production digital communications or related area or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of training education or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience 3 years) producing and publishing media (from conceptualisation through development acquisition and postproduction phases) with strong project management skills and experience coordinating multimedia projects with evidence of creativity and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of web design and an interest in emerging digital technologies and their application in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using digital production hardware including but not limited to audio visual equipment and live streaming software.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products including Premier Pro Audition Illustrator and Photoshop (or industry equivalents).
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive client service focus and proven ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively flexibly and productively as an effective team member and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proven ability to independently and effectively manage time set and manage competing priorities.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide endtoend digital media production services to meet the requirements of a brief including guiding subject matter experts to ideate and develop digital learning resources including video and audio and graphics.
  • Oversee the management of PEPPs learning and teaching digital assets resulting from media
  • production activities (internal and external) and the ongoing maintenance of digital assets
  • published via PEPP and/or thirdparty applications.
  • Manage the physical digital media resources of the team including internal loans.
  • Respond to enquiries (in person and/or virtually) from subject matter experts regarding creation management and the use of digital assets to deliver quality learning experiences.
  • Proactively create and maintain training resources and offer and deliver training to the PEPP team regarding the use of and creation of digital media in learning and teaching.
  • Ensure University Faculty and School policies procedures and processes are applied consistently within digital learning environments digital course activities and resources and education processes including intellectual property and copyright privacy and universal design principles.
