Job Overview

As the Supplier Enablement Specialist at Cortland youll be the driving force behind integrating suppliers with Coupas platform ensuring seamless alignment with our procurement policies. Youll be the goto person for suppliers guiding and supporting them through the enablement process and addressing any concerns they might have.

Roles You Will Play

  • Execute the invitation and enablement process for suppliers to ensure they are integrated with Coupas platform and aligned with organizational procurement policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers during the enablement process addressing concerns and providing guidance.
  • Partner with suppliers to implement punchout and hosted catalogs connected via cXML/EDI. Collaborate with internal technical teams to address supplier setup issues including punchout catalog integrations hosted catalogs or electronic data interchange (CXML).
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of catalogs including hosted catalog creation and supplier catalog setup updates pricing updates and troubleshooting cXML/EDI system errors.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. procurement accounts payable and IT) to ensure supplier enablement aligns with company policy.
  • Make improvements to the catalog management processes and ensure standard processes are followed
  • Communicate supplier / catalog updates to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide training and ongoing support to existing and new suppliers on use of Coupa platform and communicate system benefits to drive adoption.
  • Interact with suppliers and Cortland employees including AP IT Risk Management and Legal on supplier enablement related requests in compliance with company policy.
  • Act as a liaison to other departments to resolve supplier enablement issues.
  • Support system implementation and periodic system releases communication and UAT.

Building Blocks of Success

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2 years experience in customer service role preferred especially in a phonebased environment.
  • Experience with supplier onboarding preferred.
  • Experience in the multifamily industry preferred.
  • Excellent presentation written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stellar attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Funnel OneSite and RealPage applications.
