FulltimeRole: Personal Care Assistant
Company Name: AbaCares Services
Compensation: $14 $15 per hour
The schedule is 70 hours/week could be split between two aides with coverage needed 7 days a week from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Job Location: Center Valley Pennsylvania
Role Description: The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing compassionate care and support to individuals needing assistance. This role includes various duties related to personal care (bathing dressing transfers) light housekeeping (laundry meal prep basic cleaning) and companionship. Caregivers will also need to accompany him on outings (he drives) and assist with a structured inhome exercise routine. He weighs about 60 lbs and requires transfers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Caregiver Personal Care Assistant or similar role.
Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Physical ability to perform the positions duties including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
