1. Mission and Key Priorities of the Role
Reporting to the FP&A BU FSP the FP&A Analyst you will support budgeting forecasting and financial reporting processes. Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams to analyze financial data identify trends and provide insights that guide business performance. This role is also pivotal in ensuring effective cost management and operational efficiency across the organization. He/She will be responsible for monitoring analyzing and controlling overhead costs across the organization or specific projects working closely with all Functions and LT members to ensure cost efficiency and support strategic decisionmaking.
2. Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assure the timeliness of the Planning & Control cycle by overseeing the consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated Business Unit (BU) results and analyzing and certifying collected info;
- Support and oversee the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts related to overhead Opex and Transformation expenses by collaborating with department heads to review and validate targets according with BUs strategy;
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actuals and budgets/forecasts providing insights and recommendations.
- Help in the preparation of presentations and dashboards for senior management.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems and reports.
- Monitor analyze and control overhead costs across departments working in sync with Accounting and Group Consolidation Team to ensure accurate financial reporting whilst granting monthend closing deadlines;
- Perform variance analysis on a monthly basis analyze cost drivers and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements;
- Act as a financial liaison between Accounting and operational teams ensuring cost data integrity and alignment with general ledger entries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control systems and tools both in the BI and ERP;
3. Who We Are Looking For
A passionate professional with a Masters Degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience in cost control financial analysis or accounting roles preferably in companies operating in international industrial environments undergoing significant transformation.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills (financial modelling and deep understanding of P&L BS and CF) attention to details and a significant ability to manage large amounts of data and complex files preferably with data analytics experience
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and overhead allocation
- A teamoriented mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement and change.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (knowledge of SAP FI/CO will be considered a plus); good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (knowledge of Power BI will be considered a plus) advanced Excel skills;
- Fluent English proficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally
