Job Summary

Custodians provide clean safe and healthy school and office environments cleaning building interiors exteriors and campus grounds.

Requirements / Qualifications

Jobrelated experience in a school or related environment.

We dont require a resume and letters of recommendation however we do required a fully completed online application.

12 months/ 40 hours per week

Comments and Other Information

The competitive basis for this recruitment is established as dual certification. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications complete an online multiple choice test.

Candidates who pass the test are placed on an eligibility list in order of overall exam score. The eligibility list is used to fill vacancies withing a six month period.

Veterans may be eligible for preference points on entrance examinations (entrance is defined as candidates who are not current employees of the District). Please attach a copy of your DD214 to your application.

Employment with San Dieguito Union High School District is contingent upon successful completion of postoffer background check fingerprinting physical exam including tuberculosis drug and alcohol screening and an Oath of Allegiance. Please note that our agency receives federal funding and must adhere to federal regulations; results which indicate use will be considered nonpassing.

The probationary period for a new or promotional employee is six months or 130 days of paid service whichever is longer. Management employees serve a probationary period of one year.
