SUMMARY
The Computer Technician I is the first level of support to provide solutions to maintain computers peripherals software and related IT equipment in an educational and business environment that includes Windows and Macintosh operating systems. The technician will be expected to provide excellent customer service to all faculty staff and students.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Preference may be given for persons having one or more of the following: CompTIA A Certification; experience in an educational and/or helpdesk setting.
Travel across the district is required; must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma drivers license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience to operate district vehicles and maintain an acceptable driving record.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical. Travel between campuses is required and the employee must be able to provide and maintain a clean driving record.
