Job Description
We are searching for an SLP for the remainder of the 24/25 school year and 25/26. Number of hours can be flexible for the remainder of this school year. For the 25/26 school year this is an 184day position and operates on our school schedule. The position will work with students in grades Prek12 as the need arises. This position provides services for the Morristown campus.
Job Requirements
- Follow the guidelines of P.L. 101476 and Article 7 in identification enrollment and programming for students who require speech language or hearing services.
- Conduct individual evaluations of the students whose initial speech and/or language screening indicates deficits/delays after a referral has been received. Conduct language evaluations on those referred for initial evaluations for ASD and DHH and Prek/First Steps.
- Responsible for initiation of initial and annual conferences for students receiving speech/languageonly services. Participate as a team member in all other initial and annual case conferences for students who are enrolled in speech/language programming Prepare and implement appropriate Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and develop individual Transition Plans when applicable for students who are enrolled in speech/language programming.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that is appropriate and wellorganized to promote student interest in learning. Participate in department meetings staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Participate as a team member to provide other services as directed by the building principal.
Job Qualifications
- Indiana Educators License in Speech/Language Pathology
- Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
Salary
- $44000 $71500
- Compensation is based on hiring within our collective bargaining agreement. Additional supplemental payments to adjust to the market rate can be negotiated upon the job offer.
