General Job Description:
As a Computer Science teacher provide guidance and instructional experiences that are academically and developmentally appropriate for each student assigned to that Science Teacher will also provide technology assistance by distributing chromebooks to students and helping with IT basic needs for students and staff..
Work Schedule:
Contract Days: 190
Contract Hours:7.5 Hours/day
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current NM Teaching License (Level II or Level III; Level III preferred)
- Bachelors Degree Degree in Education Technology Preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Teaching experience in integrating technology and curriculum;
- Experience with multimedia tools (LCD panels projection systems digital cameras etc.;
- Experience with MS Office products (Word Access Excel PowerPoint) and Google Apps for Education products (Gmail Calendar Drive Docs Sheets Slides Sites etc);
- Working knowledge of PC computers and software;
- Ability to work with staff at all levels of technology experience;
- Ability to provide technology instruction in both groups and oneonone;
- Willingness to conduct and participate in district and school technology meetings;
- Willingness to travel among schools to work with teachers staff and students for training and collaboration;
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written;
- Flexibility organization decisionmaking and problem solving skills;
- Interpersonal skills with diverse populations inperson and on the telephone;
- Ability to meet deadlines work on multiple projects and coordinate the work of others;
- Organized work habits and project management skills;
- Strong skills in working both alone and in teams.

- The teacher accurately demonstrates knowledge of the content area and approved curriculum.
