Description

Medical Assistant Signature Medical Spa

The Role

  • Clinical assisting for Nurses Aestheticians Technicians and/or Dermatologists
  • Provide warm friendly discreet and efficient service to clients and staff
  • Prepare equipment including lasers goggles devices tables and cleanup
  • Clinical photography using iPads
  • Review and secure clients informed consent for treatments
  • Medical chart documentation/scribing
  • Review clients postprocedural education
  • Followup phone calls or emails as directed by the Provider
  • Restock treatment rooms retail shelves brochures
  • Provide knowledge about our skin care products and medical spa services
  • Four to five days per week 3240 hours including an 8:45 AM 1:15 PM Saturday shift beginning in December 2025.

  • Interest in dermatology and/or the beauty/wellness fields
  • Professional attire and appearance (scrubs)
  • Minimum two years of professional career experience
  • Some college is preferred

This position includes benefits such as healthcare insurance two weeks paid time off in the first year 8.5 days of paid holidays matching 401(k) and free Botox after 6 months.

Qualifications:

  • Education level.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • At least one year of experience working in a position requiring direct relations with people and customer service
  • Specific skills
    • Ability to draw blood within 3 months of hire date
    • Ability to remove sutures within 2 months of hire date
    • Ability to assist with surgeries/witness blood and tissue without feeling faint or having to excuse yourself
    • High level of accuracy and organization
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced busy upbeat medical setting
    • Proficient in using technology (e.g. accessing patient information submitting electronic prescriptions and completing online lab requisitions)
    • Strong keyboarding skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Personal characteristics.
    • Honest and trustworthy
    • Strong teamoriented focus and positive attitude
    • Selfstarter and fast learner
    • Dependable and punctual
  • Required certifications/training/documentation
    • CMS Compliance Certification completed annually
    • OSHA and Infectious Disease Control Training completed annually
    • Hepatitis B Virus Vaccination record or equivalent titer on file
  • Physical abilities
    • Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours at a time
    • Ability to safely lift 25lbs
