Job Title: Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Location: Bristol
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
Contract Type: FullTime Permanent
We are an established and designfocused architectural practice based in the heart of Bristol looking for a talented and enthusiasticPart 1 Architectural Assistantto join our growing team.
About the Role:
As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across various sectors including residential commercial and community schemes. Youll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and creative studio environment working closely with senior architects and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of design proposals and presentation materials
Support in the development of planning and technical drawings using AutoCAD SketchUp Revit or similar software
Conduct site visits surveys and research as required
Collaborate with clients consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction process
Contribute to project reviews and team meetings
Requirements:
A recognised RIBA Part 1 qualification (Bachelors degree in Architecture)
Strong design and graphic communication skills
Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite
A positive attitude attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in practice (placement or internship) is desirable but not essential
