Key position functions include:
- Repair all valve equipment while maintaining high standards of production documentation and safety
- Tear down reassemble and troubleshoot valve equipment for repair in accordance with Company standards and procedures and follow Work Order specifications
- Test grease inspect and stamp valves
- Maintain accurate database and documentation
- Calibrate function test and trouble choke valves and a variety of pneumatic hydraulic and electric positioners and actuation
- Record nonconformances as required
- Inform Supervisor/Lead Hand of any irregularities with orders or equipment
- Organize and maintain the work area including maintenance of equipment product storage containers and racking
- Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Occasional yard maintenance work
- Afterhours availability when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- High School Diploma
- Related valve repair rebuild and/or teardown experience is an asset
- Knowledge of StreamFlo and/or competitors equipment is an asset
- A basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality
- Strong mechanical aptitude a good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Good communication (oral and written) organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment
