Hiring Opportunity: Gahanna Ohio
Our client is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team in their job shop environment! In this role you will support the quality team when it comes to Precision Metal Fabrication.
Qualified candidates must have experience within the metal industry and proven knowledge of quality procedures.
Responsibilities:
Support the quality department to ensure the correct dimensions for all products that are produced.
Use precision and hand measurement tools when needed.
Cross train amongst departments when needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with geometric tolerances and dimensioning. (GDT)
Ability to convert Metric English measurements.
Ability to convert from fractions to decimals.
Ability to accurately read and interpret prints/ drawings/specs.
Ability to use hand held inspection equipment.
Ability to use program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
