Mariposa Therapy Services is headquartered in Tempe Arizona and we are proud to be a local women therapist owned and operated organization. For over fifteen years our company has become a leader in therapeutic services by supporting thousands of pediatric and adult clients receiving speech feeding occupational and physical therapy services in our clinic locations schools and in homes throughout the state of Arizona.


Mariposa is a one stop shop employer for therapists. We offers positions in schools clinic home or a mixture of settings. We believe a variety of settings strengthens clinical skills and keeps the profession fresh. We serve clients in these settings:

  • Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Essential Responsibilities

  • Planning for and providing evidencebased therapeutic interventions for clients with a variety of disabilities to remediate improve or alleviate areas of need and increase participation in home community and school
  • Use of creative and engaging therapy ideas to increase clients attention and motivation. Interest in working with Autistic children.
  • Consult with family/caregiver for development of home programs
  • Share and collaborate with other therapists
  • Data collection: complete accurate daily notes quarterly progress & annual plan of care using webbased documentation system
  • Demonstrate positive rapport with families caregivers and staff
  • Comply with all clinic/home/school processes to adhere to state/federal guidelines for therapy delivery
  • Evaluations educationally relevant or medical necessity based
  • Opportunities available for supervision and student field mentorship

Requirements
  • Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must have IVP # on front of card)
  • Licensed to practice occupational or speech/language therapy in the state of Arizona
  • CPR & Article 9 training
