ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an immediate opportunity for aPump Technicianto join the JTMEC team based at ourOrange Workshop in a fulltime residential role working a 5/2 roster with opportunities for overtime.
Reporting to the NSW Pump Manager this role will primarily involve:
- Testing & repair of Submersible Pumps
- Loading and unloading of pumps parts and stock on/off couriers
- Completing delivery dockets as required
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Regular deliveries and trips to various sites including some of our underground work locations
The successful applicant will receive Professional onthejob training to cover all areas of pump repairs to ensure we uphold the high standards our customers have come to expect.
This is aspecialised industry role providing a high level of job security.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a basic and practical knowledge of hand tools.
- Motivated and willing to learn new skills.
- Hardworking selfstarter who is reliable honest and takes pride in your work.
- Possess acurrent C Class Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrate a commitment to a ZERO harm culture.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Applicants with prior experience encouraged to apply.
The following are preferred but not essential:
- MR or HR class drivers licence
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical trade or sound level of mechanical aptitude
- LVR/CPR
