Job Summary:
Lead companywide engineering team performing design development and test of complex systemsofsystem enterprise autonomy capabilities. As Lead Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Engineer you will oversee teams performing iterative development and test sprints of software for collaborative autonomy aligning evolving customer requirements with the teams overall technical capacity and maturity and ensuring that delivered capabilities meet the programs test objectives. The SI&T Engineer is responsible for the technical baseline and associated deliverables guiding the team through iterative sprint milestones while managing technical risk and tracking action items to closure. The SI&T Engineer uses knowledge of project management to guide the development and test of these complex systems that deliver significant impact on business and functional results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with EAS Chief Engineer to be the primary customer and associate contractor technical liaison
- Coordinates the teams development and integration activities across multiple performers to include subcontractors and associate contractors
- Works with mission partners to determine the technical capabilities delivery schedules and associated costs
- Shapes sprint planning objectives / tasks in alignment with monthly integration event priorities
- Directs integration and test teams to ensure readiness for formal test events
- Oversees the ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) baseline for software components and all external interfaces
- Ensures successful Design Reviews Peer Reviews and Technical Interchanges
- Evaluates and determines technical approaches to support key technical decisions
- Creates reports documents and presentations for program and leadership meetings
- Travels to customer locations without supervision and provide onsite technical team guidance and oversight supporting successful demonstration of system performance objectives and mission success
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong systems engineering or software engineering background with experience in leading teams and collaborating with a diverse background of organizations and teams to accomplish whole system solutions.
- Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of these areas: Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Distributed Software Sensor Fusion Autonomous Systems.
- Prior leadership role on project utilizing AGILE development methodology.
- Highly proficient communicator to all skill sets and levels of the organization responds effectively to changing situations skilled at prioritization statusing and working multiple tasks in parallel.
- Ability to hold and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Required Skills Experience and Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems or Software Engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience working as a softwarefocused Senior Systems Engineer.
- Excellent communication skills with customers peers stakeholders for the program.
- Experience with the application of systems engineering tools.
- Experience working with project planning requirement management and scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in the integration of requirements design and technology during the design and development of complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in product development and associated development life cycle.
Preferred Skills Experience and Education:
- Prior experience with Unmanned Systems technology
- Prior experience with multidomain fusion technology
- Understanding of MBSE/Modeling and Simulation
- Understanding of physical architectures spanning across multiple security domains
- Highly skilled at planning test integration verification and validation activities

- Ability to travel up to 40
- Ability to independently lift 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office environment; customer facility; System Integration Laboratory (SIL); in ground vehicles or in secure facilities with/without environmental control; or onsite in aircraft parked in hangers and outside
- Working with computers and other computer and hardware components
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
