PreK 3/4 Associate Teachers at Capital City:Work with an experienced teacher and a class of 1825 students Plan and implement daily lessons and curriculum units with a lead teacherWork with small groups and individual students in all subject areasAccompany students on fieldworkAttend weekly professional development sessionsSupport the schools social and academic curriculumParticipate in weekly meetings with your classroom and grade level teamCommunicate with parentsEngage in professional development focused on building your capacity as a teacherAttend summer instituteCapital City seeks to employ experienced and credentialed associate teachers. Minimum required qualifications: Associates degree or 2 years towards a Bachelors Degree or High School diploma and Paraprofessional certification. Experience working with students and/or speakers are desired. In addition to the above requirements teachers must meet the requirements of all hires at Capital City including a criminal background check and a negative TB test.
