Job Description
Western Middle School is currently seeking a 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher.
Date Posted:
- March 18 2025
Position Available:
- One 1 fulltime middle school teacher with an endorsement in Social Studies (RX). Responsible for delivering social studies curriculum in 7th grade.
Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- An endorsement in Social Studies (RX).
Additional Expectations:
- Ability to connect with middle school students
- Actively participate in a PLC
- Have specific subject area knowledge
- Communicate with students families staff etc. on a regular basis
- Excellent communication public relations and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to problemsolve and seek creative solutions
Starting Date:
- August 18 2025: Start of the 202526 school year.
