Job Description
The Department of Modern Languagesat St. Francis Xavier University invite applications for a 9month limitedterm position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 15 2025. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Applicants should have native or nearnative fluency in Spanish a PhD in a relevant field or be close to completion and a demonstrated record of teaching Spanish as a second language.
The successful candidates will be expected to undertake a teaching load of 6 courses and will be responsible primarily for teaching undergraduate language courses in Spanish.
