Certerra has a fulltime opportunity for ACI ATTI Construction Materials Testing Technician in Las Vegas NV. Typical Job Duties Include:
- Testing and inspection of construction materials such as soils concrete masonry and hot mix asphalt for quality control/quality assurance in a laboratory setting as well as on construction job sites
- Discussion of test results with clients onsite representative
- Preparation of daily reports on WT project specific activities
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
- Strong communication and detailed writing skills
- Basic math and writing skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
- Capable of working independently
- Availability to work irregular hours and on weekends
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening
Required and Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous construction materials testing experience required
- Current ATTI ICC and/or ACI certifications or equivalents preferred not required.
Certifications that could be applicable for this position:
- ACI American Concrete Institute
- ICC International Code Council
- CWI Certified Welding Inspector
- NICET National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies
- ATTI Arizona Technical Testing Institute
