Putty/Nester
BENEFITS: Medical Dental Vision 401K
AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Putty/Nester to be located in West Plains MO. The Putty/Nester fills defects in surfaces of unfinished flooring and places flooring pieces into nesting jigs.
JOB DUTIES:
- Mixes specified amounts of colored putties or patching compound with water to obtain workable consistency.
- Removes flooring pieces from roundtable examining unfinished surface for defects.
- Fills defects such as knotholes and wormholes with putty mixture using putty knife and places puttied pieces and nonfilled flooring pieces into nesting jig with correct number of layers.
- Inspects flooring pieces at each step of packaging process.
- Removes unsatisfactory pieces from production process and places pieces in carts or return belts.
- Secures flooring pieces in nesting jig using nylon or metal strapping.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check employment verification and drug screening.
- Positive and Verifiable Work History.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently move and/or lift up to 10 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally push more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently walking standing stretching bending stooping twisting reaching grasping and repetitive movements
- Ability to work in noise with levels up to 90 decibels
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to frequently read and effectively communicate both by spoken and written words
- Ability to frequently don and doff mandated PPE as required by the job assignment
