POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Contractor will join the Global Atlantic Payroll team to help to support and execute the companys payroll operations for approximately 1500 exempt and 300 nonexempt employees. You will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing compliance with regulatory requirements and provide exceptional support to our employees. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Integrity and confidentiality are critical for success as this role requires precision efficiency and handling sensitive information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process biweekly payroll for all employees including salary hourly and commissionbased staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation of wages overtime deductions bonuses and other compensation elements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records including changes in salaries benefits and tax withholdings.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings including federal state and local taxes.
- Equity award processing.
- Ensure compliance with all payrollrelated regulations and company policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role preferably in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency working with ADP Workforce Now and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Prior experience processing payroll foremployee sized organization.
- Minimum 8 years experience in this type of role.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta Batesville Bermuda Boston Des Moines Hartford Indianapolis and New York City.The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.
Global Atlanticsbase salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantics total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses longterm incentives (equity) generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k) as well as a company match on your contributions) and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of shortterm cash bonus and longterm incentives.
The base hourly range for this role is
$50$65/hour USD
