Overview
We are a technology driven firm looking for talented software developers who share our passion for technology. You will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of our technology including developing and optimizing our trading platform utilizing low level technology and network programming finding a highvolume dataprocessing solution for the daily analysis of the firms trading activities across all asset classes and augmenting improving and redesigning software systems that support and monitor our trading activity in realtime.
You will be able to make an immediate and visible contribution automating and improving our firmwide trading infrastructure. Some projects include application development on startof day processes realtime reconciliations database manipulations market data) process automation running advanced reports and deploying/developing web services.
This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with highthroughput financial data and have a serious interest in a career in quantitative trading. The role will directly impact the groups trading activities and help drive its revenue.

Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
- Experience withC
- Experience operating in a Linux environment
- Experience with optimizing performance processing throughput latency and memory footprint within a complex realtime system
- Familiarity with binary data multithreading realtime and distributed software systems
- Thorough understanding of computer networking protocols and concepts including IP/TCP/UDP NAT DNS NFS and similar systems.
- Strong programming skills and grasp of concurrent programming patterns and data structures
- Solid understanding of realtime system and network paradigms
- Strong communication skills ability to express complex concepts in simple terms verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an open and collaborative environment
- Experience with UNIX utilities and scripting (Python shell etc. experience with a version control system (e.g. Git) highly preferred.
