Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Electrician to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take lead on and support with repair/maintenance and the general installation of Mission Critical systems throughout New England including but not limited to: Security (CCTV Access Control Intrusion) A/V & Wireless Communication
- Perform low and medium voltage cable installation cable management cable terminations device installation and other assigned project duties as required
- Perform electrical installations repairs and maintenance in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state regulations
- Troubleshoot diagnose test and repair systems and/ or equipment as necessary
- Install inspect and repair electrical wiring conduits and electrical distribution equipment
- Produce accurate documentation for the project as required including: system commissioning reports Test Reports As builts system certification etc.
- Provide daily project status updates as required and communication to the Project Management team
- Summarize report and present noncompliant attributes of a project site or system
- Think clearly and logistically to make accurate decisions based on personal and professional judgement and verifiable criteria
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 24 years experience with the installation and commissioning of medium voltage and low voltage/ Data Communication systems in residential commercial or industrial settings
- Minimum of 24 years experience related to all job duties of this position is required
- OSHA 10 required
- MA Journeyman Class B required
- RI Electrical Journeyman Class B required
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license required
- Must be able to travel throughout New England as required (RI MA NH ME)
- Must be able to work off hours if/when projects require it (second third shift and weekends)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry/ manufacturer certifications preferred
- RI Electrical Contractor Class A preferred
- Firestop Certified (Hilti or 3M) preferred
- Boom and scissor Lift Certified preferred
- MA Master Class A a plus
- CT E2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyman a plus
Salary: starting at $40/hr
