8x8 has an exciting opportunity on our internal Information Technology team for an experienced detailoriented and proactive Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance our Salesforce platform. This position is an inoffice or hybrid work role based in the UK (UK Business Hours) and will work closely with internal stakeholders to customize configure and maintain Salesforce to meet business needs ensuring the platform operates efficiently and aligns with organizational goals. This role is key to optimizing Salesforce for user productivity data accuracy and process automation.
In this role you will:
System Administration related
Serve as a primary administrator for the Salesforce environment ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Manage user setup profiles roles permissions and security settings.
Maintain system health perform regular data audits and ensure data integrity.
Participate in and help drive Salesforce services problem/incident troubleshooting and resolution in partnership with the greater 8x8 IT/BizApps team our peers partners and business customers.
Conduct and present root cause analysis of incidents as appropriate.
Assist in defining implementing and executing Disaster Recovery and HighAvailability plans.
Identify stability performance and risk trends and conditions that indicate the need for changes to the 8x8 Salesforce environment.
Build and maintain productive collaborative relationships with external vendor partners technicians peer engineers and client business teams.
Participate and provide guidance and IT/BizApps team representation to/within broader organizational change/risk control initiatives and governance bodies.
Customization and Configuration
Configure and customize Salesforce objects fields page layouts record types workflows validation rules and automation processes.
Build and maintain reports dashboards and analytics to support business decisionmaking.
Implement changes and enhancements to meet evolving business requirements.
Automation and Process Optimization
Design and implement automation solutions such as Flows Process Builder and Approval Processes to streamline business operations.
Optimize workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency across teams.
Support integration of Salesforce with thirdparty tools and applications.
User Support and Training
Build and maintain productive collaborative relationships with business users and key stakeholders.
Provide daytoday support to Salesforce users troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to improve user adoption and proficiency.
Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert addressing inquiries and guiding users on best practices.
Data Management and Reporting
Manage data imports exports and updates using tools like Data Loader and Salesforce Data Import Wizard.
Ensure data accuracy through deduplication validation and ongoing monitoring.
Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to meet the reporting needs of various departments.
System Maintenance Updates and Industry/Platform Innovation
Stay informed about Salesforce releases features and best practices and assess their potential impact.
Test and implement new Salesforce features and functionality to ensure seamless updates.
Monitor system performance and resolve any technical issues promptly.
General
Need to work and think independently be a selfstarter take initiative prioritize and effectively complete tasks on time with or without detailed work direction is an absolute must.
Need to move quickly to make decisions and commit to a clear course of action; be comfortable making decisions based on partial information; show a strong bias toward action.
The intended hours for this role are expected to be typical United Kingdom workday hours but occasionally events may require scheduling after normal working hours and/or on the weekends to control interruptions to critical services and minimize business impact.
Hybrid and Remote work arrangement requires consistent dependable remote access over a highspeed Internet connection (not provided)

Basic Qualifications: (required)
Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or other technical program (Industry certifications or additional years of experience may offset degree requirement).
2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
Proven experience with Salesforce configuration user management and data maintenance.
Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Data Loader Process Builder and Flows.
Skills
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture including standard and custom objects workflows and reports.
You must possess the ability to analyze troubleshoot and solve Salesforce Administrative problems up to lowmedium complexity as well as prioritize tasks to complete requests and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate (writing speaking and presentation) effectively and consistently with clarity and thoroughness to optimize audience understanding.
Excellent collaboration skills to include: diligent followup issue resolution appropriately setting expectations and navigating through difficult situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or higher.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using tools like Zapier MuleSoft or APIs.
Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and addons.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Einstein Analytics.
