Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students develop strong analytical and problemsolving skills. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans assessing student progress and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state and district curriculum standards.
  • Teach various levels of high school mathematics including Algebra I Geometry Algebreic Reasoning and Algebra II
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technology to support student learning.
  • Assess and track student progress through assignments quizzes and standardized assessments.
  • Provide individualized support to students to ensure their success in mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues parents and administration to support student achievement.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in faculty meetings professional development and extracurricular activities as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with differentiated instruction and curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing and assessment strategies.
  • Ability to support students in developing critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
